back in the real world. I've been out in the wilderness of the Seven Lakes Basin/ Sol Duck Drainage for 8 days. I've got a killer tan and a entiree galaxy of mosquito bites spiralling around my ankles. Wow. Damn. my lj updates are annoying to me.

But. This is a gloating entry. I got a 1 in my Linguistics classs. So all those snobby superiority complex Europeans can just shove it about grade inflation in the U.S. University system. And to top it off, my professor wrote, "Ich gratuliere Ihnen herzlich - Sie waren eine der besten Studierenden
in der Lehrveranstaltung!"

sorry people valuing humility (myself included). sometimes it is really healthy to gloat.
